Rear hatch window

Hello,
I just purchased a 2013 4 Runner SR5 and the rear window works with the button inside, but does not work with the key on the back hatch. I also have a Highlander and there's a lock button in the glove box that will keep the rear hatch window from opening from the back button outside of the car. I'm wondering if the SR5 has a lock button if so where is it located I didn't see one in the glove box. I appreciate any feedback as what it could be if there's no lock button
Thanks, Ralph

I didn’t think the early 5th Gen’s had another way to put the window down other than the console button .
Been a few years since I sold my early one so could be easily wrong .

I think you are wrong, my 2010 4Runner rear glass could be lowered with key from outside. The only issue I had with that is when one day I couldn't turn the key due some rust, but putting some oil in the keyhole for a couple hours fixed the issue. I'm not aware of any lock button other than locking passenger windows on driver door, but if it's in lock position - inside button won't work.

Your's should be the same as my 2018.

Thank you all for responding, I called the place where I purchased it and they told me they just had the motor for the back window replaced, so now I'm wondering if the guy who replaced it didn't wire in the key switch in the door. I'm bringing it bake to the place who installed the new motor on Thursday, hopefully he can fix the problem. My daughter has a 2006 and her key opens the rear window Thanks again Ralph

The hatch key worked that way on my old 2012 Trail Edition, for sure. I think all 5th gen 4runners had this. No reason for them to change it.
