Rear Main Seal Replacement V6

So my pocket and pride are hurt after finding out that the rear main seal has to be replaced on my V6 4Runner. I noticed oil underneath where I park in my driveway a few weeks ago. I changed the oil drain plug and refilled my oil thinking it could have been a defective plug and washer, it wasn't :crybaby:

This past week I noticed a shutter when driving around town between 1000 and 1500 RPM. My immediate thought was may be my transmission fluid needs a flush, but I remember that its a sealed trans with "lifetime" fluid, so it probably has something to do with the oil leak..

Long story short, decided to break down and take it to Toyota for them to do some investigating since its my daily driver and I don't have time to mess around. After waiting about two hours they saw the oil leaking out at the little drain hole between the transmission and rear of the engine. The service technician said the rear main seal on the 4th gen T4R isn't very common to start leaking. Any other owners on here experienced this?
