Rear main seal replacement

Passive and I both have rear main jobs in our near future. I'm still researching it, and will be back once I get it going with pics and some kinda walkthrough. In the meantime, any suggestions and such would be great. In particular, what else should be replaced while I'm in there? If there's no shifting trouble, should I bother with resurfacing the flywheel and replacing the clutch? If there's no leaking trans fluid, should I do the trans input seal anyway?

Depends how many miles are on the clutch/flywheel. If there are any score marks or blue spots would replace it, but if its smooth and looks ok, Id leave it. Unless you just like spending money. Haha.

These usually come with a clutch kit, but check your throw out/pilot bearings and change them if they need it.

And make sure you have a clutch alignment tool for when you need to put it all back together.

When was the last time the clutch was replaced? If unknown and you DONT want to replace it id just do the throw out bearing and pilot since your dropping the trans anyway
