Rear mount turbo question

Hey guys, I am considering removing my supercharger and building a rear mount turbo setup. The one big thing holding me back right now is the cold side piping route. I have a 3" suspension lift, no body lift. I do NOT want a body lift. I have seen the guys run the cold side piping between the under body and frame but what about guys without a body lift? I haven't come across any threads about it.

Has anybody come across a good piping route for a rear mount turbo setup without a body lift?

I'm in the process of doing a rear mount myself. My wife told me no higher or she will boot me! I'm going to drill a 2 1/2" hole thru the frame towards the front wheel well and weld a tube into it. Then I'll route the piping on the inside of the frame rail, thru the frame and then to the motor similar to what Clownmeat and the others have done. Only issue I'm seeing so far is the floor clearance over the turbo without the body lift. If necessary I can modify the floor above the turbo to give me the room needed.

Hmm, I'd be interested in seeing how you do that! Sounds like a good idea. I also didn't take into consideration a body lift giving the turbo more room. What about having the turbo come off the side of the exhaust instead of the top? That way the turbo can be tucked higher? Just a thought

I'm going to see if that will work. I have my bi-annual emissions test next week here in Commie-fornia, so the build is going to start soon after that. One of the parameters for the build is that I will have to be able to put it back to stock fairly easily. We will see where it goes.
