Rear nameplate scratching paint

Hi everyone. There was a post a while back where someone was having an issue with plastic nameplate scratching into the paint on the rear hatch, mainly on the sides. For the life of me I couldn't find with my Google searches. Does anyone have the link or know what the dealership said in response to the plastic rubbing the paint away?
