Rear Sagging Full Weight

I Have the toytec boss suspension lift kit with the 9602RC coils in the rear. After loading up my vehicle with the spare tire, cargo box, cargo, tent etc. I am sagging..bad. I even lowered the front 1' to try to compensate, but didnt really help.

Anyone know the proper way to address this? I heard OME 891 coils, or then a load leveling kit..

Not sure which rout to take, I am looking for reliability, longevity, and low maintenance.

Thanks!

Is that a CBI bumper in the rear? 891s won't help you. My 891s started to sag with just my CBI. I moved up to 861s with the Black LC shocks. So much better. You'll have a rake when unloaded but levels out great when loaded. For me, it's just what I was looking for.

I had the same thing happen with toytec rears. I switched to ome 861 (fj80 front springs] and lc80 tokico blacks. Perfect handling the weight.

I am on a tight budget guys, I really dont want to change my rear shocks.

Also I heard the 861's sit higher than 3" and I don't want to do extended brake lines.

I dont know how it will be driving around with them 24/7.

You simply drop the pressure. I carry a small bicycle frame-mount pump just for this. I usually keep 12-15 psi in them, and bump up for load. Very practical solution.

Some have concerns about using one pressure line to both bags, and body roll. The solution for that is to use separate fill valves for each bag.

That is a little different then my situation. I have a bumper, spare tire, jerry cans, cargo box, cooler, tent, etc. And since I am traveling the country all that stuff will remain in my vehicle 24/7.

I just read about people putting Land Cruiser coils in the rear?

This does seem like a situation airbags would be a good solution for. With a static setup wouldn't you have to choose to be sky high unloaded to sit level loaded?

You do have a good point, I just wasnt sure if they were made to be inflated 24/7. I thought you were to just fill them up when you tow on weekends/etc.

I'm certainly not an airbag expert but I thought they were inflated based on your load. A wired air pump would sure be cool. Load up the truck then inflate to what you need.

Same setup and had the same problem. After vacation I went with a set of 906s. I keep a lot of stuff in my 4 runner daily and there is no sag. Going on vacation in a few weeks , so we will see how it works out this year, but I don't fear my cbi bumper dragging.

I can't figure out how to rotate the damn pics

Don't waste money with 4runner coils if you have a Cbi with tire and gas 861 coils are perfect!

I went from factory to 891 to 861. 891 sag sooo bad real quick.

Just ordered air lift. Thanks for the help. Looks like the best option for my situation.

Yes that is the one I am looking at. But from what i see people use those for trailers when towing, I dont know how it will be driving around with them 24/7.

Also from what I read 891's will sag as well. Anyone have any suggestions?
Ive used them driving around for many thousands on miles. From south Louisiana, through Missouri, chicago potholes and snowy roads up to Appleton, WI. Really firms uo the rear end when loaded. Before i did my speedy i lift i used the bags to give me extra lift in the rear. They always had 7-10 psi and when i was fully loaded with a trailer i bumped up to 25psi.

Do you have your panhard bar leveled out?

No I have a stock panhard bar, why would i need to level it out?

Update: So i got air lift company's rear airbags, work great but offroading it is a really rough drive and I have no flex. I am still looking for springs that can support the weight i am carrying. Still do no know which ones to get
