Rear seat headrest storage: where?

Ridiculous question: Where does everyone store the rear seat headrests when the seats are folded down? I am taller so I need to keep removing the headrest from the seat backs when I fold them down. Is there a place to store them that I haven't figured out yet instead of just letting them bounce around in the back?

As you're folding the seat lowers forward they will nest in that area before you bring the backs down.

If I have to remove them, I put them in a small zippered bag so they don't get dirty or damaged. Usually they rest in the rear of the front seat Ok so I don't remove them.

Not Sure Why you have to remove them. As long as they are fully down, the rear seat back should fit just behind front seat back when lowered. Never had a problem with lowering mine.

I think the OP is asking because, as he mentions, he is tall, so likely needs to have the driver seat all the way back. If that's the case, I don't think the back seats can fold down with the front seats pushed back all the way, unless you remove the headrest. Is there room to just put the head rest on the floor behind/ under the front seats and then fold the back seats down?
Not 100% sure on the spacing here, but it might work.

For me they actually slide under the folded seat from the two passenger doors.

Not Sure Why you have to remove them. As long as they are fully down, the rear seat back should fit just behind front seat back when lowered. Never had a problem with lowering mine.

Some people have to remove them due to children sitting in gigantic car seats that hit the head rests. I found a way to nest the head rests along the top of the privacy cargo area cover, where the cover meets the back of the seats. Other times, I just put them in my workshop in a cabinet.

Jesus I had a '99 3rd gen and I did not connect this design with the headrests. That would definitely come in handy at the time when I had the '99 for long distance trips. I am now a certified idiot for not realizing this sooner than later

slide front seats forward a skosh, fold down back seats, slide front seats back again.

I just fold the seats down with the headrests still mounted in the seat backs. Easy
