I was going to do this as well, but with the of the ports. Would you get more power output if you went right to the battery? Also, I'm assuming I would need a separate power source for each outlet if I don't run it to the battery?
You shouldn't need to have two homeruns to the battery...I would, however, if you're using two items that need that power output all the time. You can usually get away nicely with just teeing into the same single homerun to the battery.
