Rear Shocks Question

Hey everyone, ive got a 97 4runner with a 2" BL and the toytec ultimate, and my one rear shock (Procomp 9000 series) is blown already, and i dont really like the ride of them so id like to replace both. So my question is, since i cant find these shocks anywhere to buy that is convenient, can i go with another shock? do these ones have a longer stroke, or can i just get some shocks from an autoparts store. If anyone could help me out here thatd be great, i really wanna change them out cause the ride right now is terrible!

Spend the money on some Bilsteins. They are worth the money.

I'm running They are Bilstein 5100 and are for the F-150 with a 6" lift.

The shocks are the BE5-6528-H5. They are a stem mount on the top so there is no need for the eye adapter. Extended length is 21.5" and collapsed is 13.27". The valving is 389/94. They are firm.

I was also looking at the 5150 (BF5-A195-H1). The valving is 255/70.

I refused to use the ring eye adapter. It shortens the length of the shock and it's travel.

If you haven't lowered your bumpstops then you want a shock with a compressed length of ~13.25". Also a resi shock will move the gas compartment out of the shock and into the resi. This also lengthens the travel. That is why I was considering the 5150.

oh ok, i never fully understood the resevoir part. I've heard lots of good things about Bilsteins, maybe next summer ill change to them when ive got the cash, right now i just want to get rid of the annoying clunking and bouncing.
