Rear Springs

I have a 2006 Limited that has a 2" (1" spacer) front lift and a 1" rear Cornfed spacer lift. I just took the XREAS off of it and put KYB Struts Plus on the front and KYB shocks in the rear. The new struts lifted the front a full inch. Now I want to raise the rear an inch to regain the rake I had previously.

Daystar makes a 1.5" rear spacer that can be had for around $40, but I'm not sure .5" gain by replacing my current 1" spacer would be sufficient. Daystar makes a 2" spacer that should do the trick that's $115.

I am thinking the Moog 81081 FJ rear springs may give the right amount of lift. They can be had for around $50. Does anyone know how much lift they would give me over my stock coils? Thoughts?

To have something to gauge, I ran 2014 fj 4x4 springs, bilstein 5100 and daystar 1.5 which gave me about 2.5 rear lift. Hope that helps. You can also go with all pro 2" rear springs with no spacers then you have to think about longer rear shocks cause kyb might be too short. There's so many combinations based on funds.

That's something else I hadn't considered. So if I have 2" of lift in the rear, the KYB shocks I now have that are made to replace the originals will be too short?

Make sure you look into the Moon rear FJ spring fitment issues with the T4R
