Rear suspension squeak solved!

Taking her in on Tuesday. 2019 TRD Pro. Pushing down on the rear bumper I get this squeak. Also hear it when I'm going slow, over bumps. Any ideas??

I would ask someone to bounce the rear bumper while I laid on the ground under the rear with the parking brake set. Touch the point of a long screwdriver to various places that are a likely source of the noise. Find a point where you feel the strongest vibration through the handle. If you are unable to feel a vibration with your hand, then hold the handle against your ear. You may also use a length of PVC pipe held against your ear and touch various points with the other end to find the loudest source of noise.

2017 TRD Pro here. I had a squeak. If you follow the brake lines, they go through a round metal retainer which on mine, would create a slight squeak because the brake line would rub against the metal ring. I fixed mine by slight bending the ring to change the angle a bit. simple fix.

You can test before bending by just spraying a bit of lube on the line where it contacts the round metal ring. To be clear, the retaining ring, just keeps the brake line in place and allows movement/flex for rear axle.

Issue found. Rear control arm bushings worn prematurely. On my 3rd 4Runner and they have been super reliable but so far I've had the front shocks replaced under the TSB and now the rear control arms. You never know. All under warranty so no big deal and I do have a Toyota Platinum extended warranty that I got for an unbelievable price. One simple repair will easily eclipse what I paid for the warranty.
