Rear window and wiper only work during and right after it rains

Specifically, the window won't go up or down with the dash button, only with the key. The wiper doesn't work at all. Unless it's raining, then both work as usual. The rear defroster still works all the time. Could this be some sort of short? It started after getting a tune-up at the Toyota dealer then spending the weekend camping on the beach.

Easiest thing to check is the wire harness where it exits the cabin and enters the hatch door. It's common to have cracked/broken wires in there. Otherwise, if the rear window isn't 100% rolled up, the wiper won't work. Not sure how rain could be affecting this, unless maybe it's a grounding issue.

Actually, the easiest thing to check is to make sure the dealer didn't press the window lock button on the drivers side master window switch.

Any certain way to get the little box the wires run through open? I tried prying it a couple different directions and couldn't figure it out. Window is 100% rolled up, dash button just doesn't work unless everything's wet. I'm leaning towards grounding issue but I wouldn't know where to start.

Lock button definitely isn't pressed. All the other windows work and the dash button works when it's raining.
