Rear window and wiper problems

Hey all, rear window and wiper stopped working, but washer fluid works. I can hear a relay or something clicking near the hatch when I hit the roll down button.
Window lock button is not on, checked some of the wiring going from the body to the hatch, little bit of cracked insulation but looked fine other than that. Took the inside hatch cover off and all the harnesses are plugged all the way in.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Where wires transition from hatch to body I had strands of wire broken inside of wire jacket, looked good with the eye, meter said other wise.

How did you go about the repair?

Gain access to the individual wires by sliding boot out of way as much as you can. Feeling each wire can tell you alot, use a multi-meter set on ohms/continuity
with needle sharp probes to check each wire by piercing the wire jacket. A 40 watt soldering iron for repairing the break, used heat shrink to cover repairs.
