Rear window switch, does it illuminate?

Just wondering if the rear window button below the clock on the dash lights up? Mine is dark right now and I don't remember if it was lit up. Thanks.

Yup 'rear window' lights up.

EDIT: I didn't fully read your post, my truck is a 97 and the window switch is next to the hand brake, and it lights up. I am not sure if one with the switch over there will light up.

I'm glad you asked this question because I was wondering the same thing. I just bought an 01 4Runner last week and mine isn't illuminated.

In my 01 Limited, it doesn't and I'm not sure if it ever did.

I did not know mine was supposed to either until I read the write-ups on doing led conversions
