Rear Window Troubles

So I have a '94 4runner that has a problem with the rear window. When I push my switch up front to go either up or down, I hear the window motor moving and the window stays put. I've opened the back panel and haven't seen anything out of the ordinary. When the motor moves, it sounds like it's pulling the window mechanism down but none of the gears or anything moves. If anyone could offer input that'd be awesome because as of now, I'm stumped.

Get up in there.

:cheer2:
Get up in there. Something is broke or off track i want too say. If the gears are not moving but the motor is working up and down when you tell it, then you gotta get up in that rear door:mmph: its not fun but something going on in there. Good luck

Hi guys. Im having the same issue. I can hear the motor when trying to go up or down. The window is 95% up. How do I get the window down manually so I can open the tail gate and diagnose? or Can I? This is a 92 4runner totally new to us with some issues we are addressing one by one. Thanks for any help.
