Rear Window Usage

Hello,

Ever since I got my car in November '05, I've been using the rear window a lot. I mean I roll it down almost every time I drive. Just love the air flow with less noise.

Are these known to break down if used more often? Has anyone had any problems with the rear window?

I'm just curious if Toyota actually planned on us using it or is it just a nice feature to use once is a while. I don't want the mechanics to fail just cause I used it too much.

haven't had any problems with my rear window. i always use it because it's hooked up to my alarm and i wind it down when coming to the car to cool it off a little. shouldn't have any more problems than your regular windows.

I do the same thing-- living in Arizona gets way too hot so I roll the back window down everytime I walk to my car--I was afraid of the same thing but I then I thought about how often I roll the other windows down and realised it should be fine.. You would think Toyota would atleast put a heavier duty motor for the back window. I think its fine.
