Rear window/wiper

Been having issues with my rear window and wiper. The up/down switch doesn't work, when I try and use the key in the tailgate the wiper starts (as if it is attempting to seat itself) however it goes up and stops on the window. I've tried to reset it like when it has to "learn" where the wiper or window is when the battery is reset but still no bueno. Thoughts? Anyone know where the actual controller is? Thanks for your help.

There is a rear hatch "ecu" or control unit in the actual rear hatch. Sound like it's messed up. If disconnecting the battery didn't do anything might want to look at getting it replaced. It's been a problem for a few people on here and if I remember from their threads it was a couple hundred for the box. Good luck and I hope it's something simple instead... But I'm not sure what to do to diagnose anything else...

Thanks for the response, I'll give it a try this weekend. I figured it would be a good start, the laziness in me doesn't want to have to reset my radio stations lol
