Rear window

Does anyone know a way to disable the key remote's ablility to roll down the rear window? I am having a problem with coming back to my 4R, and finding the rear window completely rolled down. I am assuming that when I put my keys in my pocket, I am somehow accidentally pushing the window button. Is there anyway to disable this feature, as I never use it anyway. Thanks

The dealer can change it through what's known as Customizable Body Electronics System, or C-BEST settings. You need their special diagnostic tool to access the C-BEST menu in the body computer. Only a couple of the C-BEST settings have other ways to set them, such as the automatic door locking or unlocking.

I know I've seen a complete list of C-BEST settings floating around on the forum; search for that term.

Wow it takes some effort to roll down the rear window using the key fob. I think you have to hold the button down for 2 seconds before the rear window will go down and your 4Runner beeps at you. Wierd.

You can shop on ebay for a key fob that has the same FCC code but without the rear window button. My coworker has a 7th gen celica that has the same fcc code as my key fob but no rear window button since the celica is a hatchback.
