Rear Wiper arm problem solved

Is this just a 4th Gen wiper problem?

It's good that this solution works for you, but it looks like a kluge.
Toyota should have fixed this with proper OEM wipers/springs. It is, after all, a safety issue.

You say it took at tom of pressure to put it on? Did you find that you had to rotate it 180* degrees or something to get the right amount of force on the wiper? I just took delivery and installed it as it looks in the pic on the first page and it seems to work ok. Do you know something I don't know? This goes for the other post as well. It seems if i had to add more pressure it would be far too much. But I am known to be wrong...

Ordered this doohicky straight from Canada since it doesnt seem like anyone sells it here in the USA. Got it today and finally the rear wiper went from wiping about 25% of what it should to about 90%. Theres only a very slight area its missing way on top. I'm hoping with a little adjustment or maybe bending it a tad to create even more pressure it'll get the other 10%. Even if this is all I get, I can live with the 90%.

I know it's been a year but hoping someone knows how to get these still. When trying to buy online from the Canadian site it didn't seem to allow USA addresses for shipping....

A clean swipe every single time and it still gets seated in the holder perfectly.

Some bad reviews on Amazon, glad I didn't listen because it works perfectly on that rear wiper.
