Ok. This may be a silly question but how the heck do you change the rear wiper blades. Do I need to go tot the dealership to purchase a Toyota specific wiper.

Thx

should be an insert. you can do them yourself but they're so cheap and toyota does it for you when purchasing the wiper.

Gecko, I'm assuming you mean how do you swing the arm out enough to get to the blade/insert. The plastic cover over the pivot point at the base of the arm snaps on/off. You need to remove it so you can swing the arm out to 90°. This video is for a Highlander, but you'll get the idea.

You'll be tempted, but I'll save you the trouble. I started by buying the recommended Trico replacement blade for the 4R, but it's a 10" blade and the OEM is 12" so I just cut a break-to-fit refill rubber insert to size and reused the OEM metal stiffeners. In my case, I used the leftover driver's refill since they're sold in pairs.
