Rear Wiper Poltergeist

My rear wiper will occasionally give one sweep when I start the car. This seems to happen when the car has sat either overnight or after 8-12 hours at work. It doesn't seem to happen all the time but it doesn't appear to be related to rain or humidity. I'm stumped.

I know that happens on our Mustangs (I have an '07 and my wife has an '06) but I didn't think our Toyotas acted like Fords!

It's the original battery ('08) so you could be right. :thanks:

mine does it too. its an 06 with the original battery. Getting a new battery soon was on my to do list

Mine did this when the original battery was on its way out, and its been corroborated by a bunch of other forum members too. Seems to be a helpful quirk in the electronics on these trucks.
