Rear wiper refill

Hey guys,
My rear wiper was looking pretty dry and didn't feel like paying to much for a new one. I went by Autozone and come to find out that the 22 inch trim to fit refills from trico work perfectly, after the trim of course.lol 6 bucks gets ya two refills.
Just thought I would share.

So you have two 11" refill blades? or two 22"s for $6?

You get two of the 22" rubber inserts for $6. Then, cut one down to size and insert into the factory frame. Last I heard of, its around $13 for the whole wiper at the dealer.

Thanks, I know the rear wiper refill is hard to find aftermarket. Thats why I'm lazy to change mine lol! and this time I will, since we'll have a wet winter till march.

That wiper isn't bad to take off if you're gentle.lol
Went to Advance auto's website and found they sell the whole blade for like 11 bucks. It's a 12-f. Still kinda high to me for such a short blade

If you pop off the cover to the rear wiper bolt you can see a plastic tab that forces the wiper arm from being pulled back all the way. Trim that tab and you can easily pull the wiper arm away from the window to gain ample space to replace the blade insert. BTW you can buy just the insert from the dealer.

That's what I do and it is only like $2 or $3. Same thing for the front wipers.
