rear wiper switch problem

Okay my rear wiper is acting up. The switch has both low and high as you know. Well when you turn it on low guess what.... high.

However low will only work when you turn them on, switch to high, then back to low.

Anybody experience this or have a solution.

I rarely use my, when I do works fine. First click low, second high and when washer used auto high for few reps.

2004 4Runner rear wiper and defrost not working

Easy fix!!
My 2004 4Runner rear wiper and defrost were not working. The fit was to open and close the rear window and now it is working!!!

x2...someone borrowed my 4r and must have used it or touched the switch...finally figured out the window wasnt 100% up

Guys, I love this forum! I installed some light bars and had to disco the battery terminal for wiring. For two days I have been checking every fuse I could find to try to figure out why my rear wiper/sprayer wasn't working. Hmm, maybe T4R has something on it? 3 minutes later I see this thread and at 5am I run out to the garage open and close the rear window a couple times and BAM! Wiper and sprayer working just fine. Now I can go to sleep, aahhhh.
