rear wiper woes

so... my rear wiper rotted out where it bolts onto the wiper motor shaft and stopped turning. i'm picky and wanted to repair it so i bought a new wiper arm for $60. the nut that holds it on was obviously (2003)old, rusty, and seized, so i sprayed it with penetrating oil several times over the next week. as soon as i put pressure on it with a 10mm wrench the stud snapped off. Ugh! i knew it!

so here's the question: a new rear wiper motor from toyota canada is $387.50 plus tax. does anybody know of a used one, or rebuilt, or something cheaper?

i don't want to spend $500 on something that i've only used a couple times in 6 years. lol. should've left it alone.

First hit is ebay. 283 matches. First listing is a guy selling a used one for an opening bid of $12 with NO bidders. You've got a day before it's over.

If that doesn't work out, the GTA has some really well stocked scrap yards. You could probably pick one up for fairly cheap especially if you take it off yourself.

Lol. I didn't need to be scolded. My eBay search for a 2003 turned up one in California for 125 plus shipping, no returns.

I was more interested in finding if maybe somebody on here is parting out a truck, and would sell it to me.

I also checked with all of the scrap yards in Ontario and there are none available.

Furthermore, I just joined this forum yesterday in order to offer help to others, as I have found it very helpful in dealing with the several recent problems I've had with my truck.

The stud on mine snapped off too but the wiper still works and hasn't fallen off in the 2-4 months its been broken.
