hey guys, just a heads up on a mod idea thats pretty cool. if you go to a junkyard or look online, i'm sure you can find a cheap auto-dimming rearview mirror w/compass.

That is the best mod I did on my truck. It really works well at night. Mine is different than yours. I thought I ordered the one that is on the Limited, but mine ended up having a temperature display. Yours looks like the exact one of the limited. Is yours a Gentex too? Here are pics of mine:

yup. its a gentex. i think they are like the number one (sort of like the microsoft -- dominant!) manufacturer.

i actually have the option for temperature, i'd just need to add in the wire.. but I have no real need for it, i guess.

the compass, while useless, is just plain cool
