Nice install! Was there much room running the cable that way for lights, or would that take up too much room? Looked kind of tight at the windshield area.

Nice work, and don't forget that it inspires guys like me. I need more write-ups. One day I'll install permanent CB antenna and I'll start doing other mods too. I guess after I read enough write-ups to get courage to remove central console, run the cables, punch holes and so on. Oh and I want skid plates too they are in my list as well. Luckily Atman is back already so I'm a bit late with my acknowledgement : ) Will try to be faster when you install bumper : )

Yes, I think lights could go that route as well. I didn't pull the little windshield trim off but I am sure it could be done. After the summit, I am sure I will have a few rock chips and can ask the tech when he comes out to repair them. I will let you know.

Glad to do it. Please feel free to contact me anytime once you get some courage. I found it very helpful initially to be able to talk to Antman when I was pulling that thing off. It is scary but no big deal at all.

The install was going flawlessly and we thought we would have been done in about 3 hours at the rate we were going. We got to step 3b in the installation instructions and were all but shut down completely. There is a small bracket that was missing from my kit. This bracket squeezes between the fender and some of the internal plastic molding and support the large exterior trim piece that is beneath the headlights.

A quick call to Jim at Shrockworks and he said no problem, I will overnight them to you. My buddy helping me with the install said he could fab it up, so jim sent us a quick schematic and we built these tabs to support the trim piece. Worked out real well, and Jim was truly a rock star in helping us out. Added about two hours to the project, but it turned out great. I will post up some better pictures in the next few days.
 
Thanks for liking my post. For those of you that have the SW bumper, can you tell me the best way to tie back the inner fender plastic? I am miles away from the edge of the bumper, and really don't get where the best place is to strap it back or the good line to take on the cut. I would like to provide as much coverage as I can to the backside of the fogs and turn signals as possible.

Tent is on and READY!!!!

First time to have it on the 4Runner. If anyone is considering a RTT and you have the Gobi rack, I recommend buying a really long ratchet or a long socket wrench. I had a helluva time getting this mounted. Had to get some help as there is not enough room for a male forearm to get under the rack to bolt the tent down.

That maggiolina is so sick!!!

I'm looking for an autohome that goes from the tip end of the sunroof to the end of the rack. The Columbus maybe, I don't know.
 
I too have been eying the Maggiolina and was wondering how it would fit on the Gobi. A quick release attachment would be nice.
