Sorry for the interlude fellas, but I wanted to show you what kept me from the "always on" mod of the power outlet in the rear from Antman. Had a load of fun on the dirt roads today. Trailered it out from Dallas Friday and rode all day. Loads of fun!! I will try and get the mod done tomorrow (today) and post it up tomorrow, weather permitting.

I know this area well too. Had a quail hunting lease just west of Garden City. Wonderful people in that part of the state, but it is some God forsaken land. You have to be one tough SOB to make a living off the land out there. Good thing there's plenty of oil under it.

Latest Mod Working

In an attempt to replicate one of the greatest modders to ever live.....I have tried to create the platform that Seattle Mike constructed in his 4 runner. Attached are a few pics of the tack welded item. Please take a look and provide some feedback as it relates to the design. Please pay particular attention to the feet and the attachment points.

Feedback and advice is welcomed.

That looks great! I am far from being any sort of metal fabricator, but the flush allen key bolt things looks like a very clean idea.

I don't mean to butt in, but is there any reason you decided to make the platform frame that high above the sliding tray? Maybe it's just something I am overlooking but would it be better to drop it down a wee bit to save space?

It actually looks a lot higher than it really is. I did have to leave a little clearance for the Fridge mount you see in the photo, but only about a half inch. It is pretty flush but may appear a little taller than it really is. Thanks for the cudos. I think it is shaping up nicely.

ARB Drawer and Rack Installation

Although slow and tedious, the install is coming along nicely. I am almost finished, but need a little additional guidance from Jonessey. Overall it looks completed in the pics, but internally has one tiny issue remaining. What are you planning to replace with? I wish you weren't so far. That rack your drawers sit is something I've been wanting to make for a while. I bet shipping would be stupid pricey.
