funny, two sets of coils and shocks popped up when i clicked new post...

I hope your not looking at the 2 sets on fjcruiserforums, $260 shipped is a little pricey, imo! And i believe the 11' and newer shocks have to be altered to fit our runners. ARK knows more about FJ swaps than me, maybe send him a PM.

yes i was, and yes they are pretty pricey. also i have read the FJ swap thread on this site a few times and i realize the 11/12 coils need to be modified.

i am looking to spend less than $150 on coils if i can help it. and i wont be purchasing for probably another couple months. i have owned my 4Runner for only a month and have already dumps tons of money into it. the wife would kill me if i bought coils and shocks right now.

It never ends! I feel your pain man; I need to find a way to ship my skids and paint them without the gf knowing. Sliders are a little bit more obvious, she'll definitely notice them when theyre on!

eventually i am going to build my own very simplistic sliders. nothing fancy just some tube welded to the frame to protect my rocker panels.

taped it off and sprayed plasti dip over it, then used a tooth pick to pull the plasti dip away from the edges to give it an embossed look.

Any chance it had a navigation unit at some point? I think the earlier 4th gen's had a button like that for over riding the navigation screen being locked while moving. Just a guess.

I figured it out... the blue light comes one when you're almost out of Copenhagen!

On another note, I just bought a set of FJ coils off fjcruiserforums. They were $130.00 shipped. The seller was on the east coast and I'm out here in Oregon. I have heard of cheaper deals, but I thought it was reasonable enough.

You're runner is looking good so far.

anyone got some creative ideas how to mount them? obviously the red box will either mount to the cargo floor or on top of my double decker thing.

free LED strip from when i ordered my HID's, should have another one in the mail since both kits came with them.

going to go into my map lights if they fit.

Cool, have you switched to LED interior on any of your rides? Or do Audis come with them?

I only ask because the 4R was my first ride with LED interior and I love it, people comment on it all the time.

my 2500HD had LED interior lights swapped in but they were blue. my Audi didnt but it had some real nice soft lighting so i didnt mind it.

these are white LED's

I had blue halogen bulbs in my Z71 at one time, but people complained about how dim it was all the time.

I have white in the 4runner and it looks good and is superbright. It also looks good when you hit the unlock button walking to it at night. Don't guess you'll get that with maplights unless you have the maplight mod though.

i dont have a keyfob either and my dome light is set to "off" position because i dont like any lights in the car at night when i am getting in. my Audi had really nice valet lighting under all the seats that turned on when you opened the door. that was a nice touch. might do something like that with LED's in the 4Runner.
