RebRunner Build

Looks great! I have the same color as well in Limited...if only mine came with the Trail bumper :(

I have a question with the step ladder. Might kind of be obvious, but is the trunk/hatch pretty much immobile with the ladder installed?

Very Nice Truck!!
how much did the MetalTech OPOR Sliders cost. And did you get sprayed already. I want to get them soon

You can look up the price on their site and for coating I got them bare then primed and used rustoleum truck bed lining. Already touched them up and its easy to do still on the truck.

Nope I can still use the hatch like original, not interference at all.

I'll have my bumper up for grabs in less than a month since the SSO is a full replacement.

Recent shot after swapping out my OME889s for Icon Overland springs in the rear, and new CaliFab trailing arms. Gave about an inch if not more additional lift, only a few weeks left before the SSO Rear.

Are you getting any rubs after getting the ray10s?

Spidertrax

Looks awesome! Any issues with the spidertrax/TE wheels when you first had them? I have '13 SR5 with the same TE wheels, and will be lifting 2.5/1.5 with Bilstein/Daystar, and was also considering the same st maxx 255/80R17s. I was expecting some trimming/fender push forward, but was wondering if any other large issues?

The only issue I had was removing the front mud flaps, with the 255s and spacers that was the only rubbing I ran into on and offroad so you should be good. Ive since put the mudflaps back on but trimmed the center out of them eliminating where it was rubbing and so far not having any issues.

I am getting a fair amount of rubbing on the BMC which is going to need to be adressed before I make a trip on the trails. Im running the ray10s and spidertraxx (4.5-4.8 caster) so not sure if itd be an issue for non spaced ray10s.

Kind of random - but do you get much grief from the cops in VA for not having front plates?

Sweet build btw!

I havent run front plates on this or my past vehicle, and so far ive never been pulled for it. From my understanding its a secondary offense so as long as you arent getting pulled for something else they dont bother.

No. The front tag is a primary offense in VA. Secondary offenses include seatbelt and other civil charges

Rad build man, is the only reason you swapped rear coils was because of additional weight? Mine will be a DD with the occasional trail cruiser.

How did the k9 mounts work with the arb awning?

The bolt spacing on the k9 mount was just a tad (as in a mm or two) wider than the spacing on the arb awning but with a little elbow grease I was able to get them positioned. To make it perfect im sure you could use a file or maybe even a drill bit to make some more wiggle space. All in all I wouldnt stray away from the combo they have stayed on just fine and been plenty sturdy even so using the awning to pull myself up.

Correction: I only have the two top bolts connecting the arb/k9 mount as the four on the k9 didnt all match up.

In sticking with trying to run springs from the same company (fr/rear) I was planning on swapping out to 898s which is the next size up from the 889s. I went against this for two reasons: first pure curiosity of trying a dual rate coil, and two wanting the additional lift to compensate for the bumper. With two weeks and 2,000ish miles im very happy with the Icons even without the weight, the coil is much more comfortable having dual rates since mine is a daily as well.
