RebRunner Build

The bolt spacing on the k9 mount was just a tad (as in a mm or two) wider than the spacing on the arb awning but with a little elbow grease I was able to get them positioned. To make it perfect im sure you could use a file or maybe even a drill bit to make some more wiggle space. All in all I wouldnt stray away from the combo they have stayed on just fine and been plenty sturdy even so using the awning to pull myself up.

Correction: I only have the two top bolts connecting the arb/k9 mount as the four on the k9 didnt all match up.
Cool, thanks for the info. I just picked up an ARB awning so I was trying to figure how to mount it.

Along with waiting for the call about my snorkel and SSO rear, I installed some LUX rocklights and took measurements for some King rear shocks to be built.

Disclaimer: Email has been sent about discoloration of the single light.
Also have no idea how to rotate pictures...

Got the magical email from Sierra Expeditions this morning, Snorkels are coming in and being shipped out today or tomorrow, now to plan the snorkel install party:banana:

The snorkel certainly adds a peace of mind

Califab Link Arms

Recent shot after swapping out my OME889s for Icon Overland springs in the rear, and new CaliFab trailing arms. Gave about an inch if not more additional lift, only a few weeks left before the SSO Rear.

How do you like those Califab Link Arms? They cost less than ICON, Rokeman, Total Chaos and Toytech by about $400. I can't tell the difference between the tubular types. Not planning to pay for the very expensive Aluminum billet links.

The set of 5 Califab arms costs about $750 to $799, depending on which joints you choose. And how do you know which joints to get? Johnny Joints or Heim?

5TH GEN COMPLETE KIT WITH JOHNNY JOINTS
Sold as a complete kit. Includes a pair of lower links with Johnny joints, a pair of upper links, and a panhard bar. Only the lower links use Johnny joints. The uppers and panhard use Heim joints.
$799.00

5TH GEN COMPLETE KIT WITH HEIM JOINTS
Sold as a complete kit. Includes a pair of lower links with Heim joints, a pair of upper links, and a panhard bar. Photo shows lowers with Johnny joints. Actual product will use Heim joints.
$775.00

The reason I went with Califab is yes they were significantly cheaper than the others and wanted to support a smaller shop that looked like they did good work. These arms are stout and very well built. I went with Heim joints because I wanted the most movement and didn't mind having to regularly lube them.

Highly recommended they do great work

Thanks for the reply. They are a California company which is very local for me. They may be too far to visit but being within the state may save me on shipping costs. I'll be ordering a set from them when I install a new ICON lift package later this fall. I like the Heim joints too.
