so I am going to have my 3.4 rebuilt to accomidate my new supercharger! Is there a partslist or buildup thread so I can start buying parts? A little more H.P. would be nice as well!

The supercharger was designed to work w/ the stock engine, so i wouldn't really make any changes to compression or anything unless you are planning a pulley change, or to do some tuning to the truck after the new motor is in.

What warrants the rebuild? I have 163k miles on my 3.4. I added the supercharger when it had around 156k on it. I just did a compression test last week. 180 psi on all cylinders. The engine produces compression just like a new one. You may want to do a compression test, and reevaluate the whole engine rebuild thing. If i were you i would go ahead and put the supercharger on, and spend my $$ on fuel, and transmission upgrades.
But if you are doing it from a performance standpoint, you may want to run lower compression pistons. Lower compression will allow you to run more boost safely.

my runner has 213,000 miles on it, you do not think it would be a factor? My runner is my daily driver and I would hate to install the s.c. and have stuff start blowing apart.

just do the compression test, that will tell you how healthy your motor is. Keep in mind that if you are wanting to make any decent amount of power, the transmission modifications will need to be done anyways...If it were mine, id strap the blower on and run it til it pops.
