Recent compustar system

So I recently got a compustar remote starter and alarm system installed in my 2017 4runner. everything for the most part works fine however to unlock the back doors I need to hold the unlock button, is that normal?
Also when either pressing or holding unlock, my trunk does not unlock and I need to use the factory key fob to unlock the trunk. I tried calling the installer but is closed today and tomorrow so was hoping to find a solution here.
The last issue is with the alarm. after alarming the vehicle I expected the alarm to trigger if I were to kick the tire or shake the vehicle but nothing happens. Is this also normal?

No, that doesn't sound right. Sounds like they need to program it for a double-pulse unlock signal, which should unlock all the doors together.

Well I don't mind having to hold the unlock to unlock the back doors. It just doesn't open the trunk which is odd and needs to be fixed

They can adjust sensitivity on the box under the steering wheel. Now you may not want to make it too sensitive because if a strong wind blows it might go off.

This. Dont get it too light. I install these and had to warn clients that they are desinged to go off when someone is breaking in. If you go too light harelys will set them off if they drive by. But its very easy to program. Hopefully you got the digital sensor.

Also just need double pulse unlock to get the trunk.

depending on the brain that was used, you can change the setting yourself. use double pulse for unlock.
also when alarm is armed, wait 30 seconds before setting the shock sensor off.
tap on the windshield pillar to test the shock.
