Recharging the X-Reas system

If anyone ever hears of a company that provides the ability to recharge the X-Reas system components, please let me know, otherwise I just inherited $1200 worth of junk suspension parts.

I'm curious, especially with an '05, what happened to yours? What did Toyota say? Isn't it under warranty still?

I actually wanted to add the system to my SR5, I found a fellow T4R.org member who lifted his 4R and pulled the X-Reas system. He sent me his components but the problem was that the shop that pulled the system did know how to disassemble it. At all four corners instead of disconnecting the system at the check-valves they pull the flex lines at the shock which releases the pressurized oil.
The stealers (I contacted about a half dozen) all said that there is no way for them to re-pressurize any of the components and said to either buy new or send the system back to Yamaha and let them, if they can, recharge the system $$$.
One dealer went as far as to say it

I didn't realize you had an SR5. That really sucks. I hope the t4r member is willing to give you your money back because, as you said, it is worthless at this point.

I agree , if someone's know's the system need's work or is bad , it should'nt have been sold in the 1st place.

The only payment I have made so far was for shipping, unfortunately that was $193.00. I have to hope that the guy didn't know that it was garbage when he sent it.

He stated earlier in another forum
"Installation tips: Removal of the XREAS suspension is required if equipped (If you figure that the XREAS is over $1,500 to replace, and you can sell the system on EBay, the OME suspension can probably be easily paid for by the sale of an operable XREAS system.). You should follow the FSM for the install you can re-use or re-sell the system should you wish. The system is not bleedable. We will be happy to send an electronic copy of the applicable FSM sections for you. The important points are to work from front to rear with the entire vehicle securely supported by jackstands and all 4 wheels off the ground. Removal is safe & simple."

Give it a try he is a very trusted person on many forums.
