This is really off topic, but I was wondering if anyone had any good recipes to share. My wife works late and I end up cooking for us. Just tired of cooking the same things and need more variety.

Thanks

http://www.foodnetwork.com You can search by ingredients, and gradually narrow the results to a manageable size.

Example: start out with a main ingredient, say chicken. Then narrow by roast, then garlic, then lemon, then rosemary. You wind up with 31 results. Scan the names for something that sounds interesting, then look at the recipe to see if it's something you want to try. Be sure you have all the ingredients, though.

The "Garlic Roast Chicken with Rosemary and Lemon" is quite good, although I use just chicken breast instead of a whole chicken.

Most of the recipes are rated as easy, medium, or difficult. And after watchng a few of their shows, you see some techniques that take the mystery out of cooking. And cooking (not baking -- it's different) allows you lots of freedom to tailor.
