Recirc button issue

I currently own a 2005 Sport 4Runner. Everytime I start the vehicle, the recirc light is on. Is this normal? The button or light bulb was replaced after I bought the 4Runner, due to it not illuminating when the headlights were on.

On all my other domestic vehicles, you have to push it on, it is not an automatic feature. The dealership said this is normal, but I am not so sure.

It's normal. Do a search on the forum and this is one of the quirks of the 4Runner...
