Recommendation for Front Bumper ?

Looking for recommendations for a aftermarket front bumper for a 2018 4runner TRD Off Road. Leaning toward a well integrated streamline design, not too bulky or heavy. Wondering if aluminium is the way to go. Thanks

The C4 low pro with no bull bar looks absolutely fantastic IMO. It’s lighter, keeps the attractive natural lines of the front and is perfect with a hidden winch and light bar.

Demello and Hefty Fabworks offer good aluminum bumpers.

Really depends on what you're budget is and what you're going to be doing with your rig.

SSO the Slimline is the original low weight partial steel bumper and the only one to offer the stage 2 high clearance/ protection add on. If you want the benefits of a full steel bumper with out the weight, thats your best option IMO.

I did the warn semi-hidden. Love it. And then modified it for a 8274 warn. I love it. I’d post pics but can’t get the pics uploaded.

If I were to add sliders, a winch, and say the warn hidden bumper would I need to do anything with the suspension?

Yes! And why would you even do all those things on oem suspension to begin with? I would go suspension, wheels, tires first.

I think so. I have a 2018 ORP with KDSS. I did the Warn bumper, x20 winch, RCI skids, RSG sliders, rhino-rack, ARB 2500 awning, dometic CFX-40, 275/70 BFG KO2 etc. I added the Bilstein, TRD FJC TT suspension. It’s handled additional weight very well and is stock height. May add a small lift by adding a daystar front spacer and OME coils in rear.

Protection wise,If you truly want the best protection,ARB hands down. But weight is a big concern and you will need to upgrade your suspension.

If you are concerned about weight,go with hefty,it’s a very well engineered product that has been proved to be strong.

Personally I have CBI’s front steel bumper with the center loop. A close second would be Hefty’s. These are based mostly on aesthetics, but I have no doubt they are built great.

Ps, I spoke to CBI on the phone and they said the steel was only slightly heavier than the aluminum. Maybe 130 vs 115 or so (not sure exact numbers) so it was a no brainer for steel for me.
