Recommendations for MN Xreas swap shop?

Hi all,

I have a set up Bilstein 5100s set to be delivered today. I have a shop I really trust and like, but they are not familiar with Xreas.

I am planning to swap out the system and put the Bilsteins all the way around with the stock coils. Planning to run #2 on the front.

In the future I want to throw on some FJ coils, but I haven't found them yet.

My 06 sport is leaking in the front, so its shot.

All that said, not sure I want to tackle this on my own or have my normal shop attempt it.

Does anyone have a good recommendation on a reliable Twin Cities area shop that they have had good xreas experience with?

Someone might correct me, but if the xreas is shot and there's no reusing them, then you don't have to be careful with taking them off. The guides say to just have all wheels off the ground and start removing the system.

The only hard part is if xreas was being installed or trying to remove it without leaking, but those don't apply here. I think you could do it yourself.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I have been flip flopping back and forth debating on if I want to try it.

My biggest issue is I have zero suspension work experience and it would all be done late in the evenings with our schedule how it is.

I am not worried about damaging the xreas but I am a bit worried about messing some other stuff up skid sensors, etc and causing more repair costs lol.

Figured if someone on here has had a good experience somewhere close by I might just go for it if the price were right.

I'd say find a DIY post and go for it. I did a spacer lift with my xreas system and that was really intimidating because I had only ever did oil changes and small stuff. I was scared to mess up those xreas lines, but now I'm more comfortable and ready to do the FJ suspension swap.

If you find a good shop that works too, but if you have the tools and the means to do it, consider it.
