Recommendations for new kicks

I would say I am 60% around suburbs, 35% Highway, and 5% or less off-roading.

2014 limited with stock wheels and tires so it looks like it missed leg day from the front or rear. I love the driving dynamics though, and between the XREAS and the 20's, it feels really planted and handles close to a car on ramps and turns. It's not bouncy, not obviously top heavy with a lot of lean, etc. I want to keep that, so I am going to stick with 20's, but I also want something a little wider to fill out the wheel wells and a little more aggressive look. Was told by service guy at local dealer that I could run 275/60/20 with no rub issues.

My primary concerns are dry/wet braking performance, light to medium snow, low noise.

I'm currently researching AT's to see if I can find all of that in one tire, but may consider sticking with an AS although that wont really get me the look im after.

Based on my research I've done so far I see a lot of complaints about the KO2's wet braking performance so I've kind of ruled them out. Duratracs seem to get really noisy about halfway through their life. I'm still researching all of the usual suspects in the AT category.

So for my purposes, AS or AT and which ones?

edit: I do plan to get new wheels as well so Im not limited by the 7inch wide stock wheel.

Another question I forgot to include in my original post.

For those of you who have stepped down to 17's or 18's on the limited how much did it affect the ride and change it to the more bouncy and top heavy ride of an SR5? Wondering how much of an impact the wheel size has vs the XREAS? Obviously tire choice and size would impact this but just trying to get a general idea.

It's true. Get the Michelins. I ran them(back when they were the M/S2) on my 08 4Runner after the new factory tires wore out. I sold the truck with 115k miles I believe and the Michelins still had tread. They will dry rot before the tread wears out. I also had a set on my '16 for about 20k miles before I just put a set of Wildpeaks on. Unless you are dead set on wanting a more aggressive look like I was, the Michelins are far and away your best bet. Best ride quality. Quiet. Easy to balance. Good on wet/slick roads. The Michelins will be just fine with the majority of offroading that a non lifted truck can handle. I have taken them on anything from 4WD Colorado passes to Baja Mexico roads.

I suppose if you want to try a compromise, you could try the Michelin LTX A/T2. I have no experience with them however.

I am pretty set on the more aggressive look. I think I maybe should have asked my question differently. lol

How noisy are the wildpeaks compared to the michelins? how much of a difference between the two tires for dry and wet traction.

I have been very happy with Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO 3. I run 285/75/17 so I don't know how the 275/60/20 will compare.

For me, they have preformed great both on and off road. I haven't had any problems in the rain and they don't seem that loud.

I haven't had the Wildpeaks on long enough to comment about traction. There is a huge thread about this tire and everyone seems to rave about traction, even compared to the KO2. The Michelins are super quiet and plush ride. One reason I went with the Wildpeaks is because they come in SL. I did not need or want the extra stiffness of a C or E rated tire. They are however still noiser and stiffer riding than the Michelins. The noise difference isn't much. The stiffer ride took some time to get used to but this is my first AT tire and just one of the sacrifices you must make going into any AT tire. But sometimes looks just win out.
