Recommendations how to stop creak from dash binding w/ windshield?

Have a rather substantial creak in front drivers side portion of dash, right up against front windshield when going over rough road. If I apply downward hand pressure on this area (I can physically feel it being pushed down perhaps 5mm), creak gone. I could literally put a small spanner of some sort between dash and window, and the noise would stop. But that is an eye-sore/silly fix.

Can anyone recommend a safe lubricant, or method to apply perhaps felt tape/rubber? Issue "seems" to be the dash binding/vibrating up against the windshield. Such a tight spot makes it difficult to confirm. Is there a way access underneath this area without having to rip out the entire dash (seems very involved)?

Same here!

I have an '07 Limited and it is a very annoying "squeak", if you apply some downward force on the dash, right in the corner, it goes away for a little while. I don't recall the noise in the warmer months, could it be temperature related?

Jamming something in there would probably work but is almost less desirable the the squeak! Perhaps there is a clip or dash connection that needs tightening?

Anyone else have this issue? Turning up the radio works but between the dash and the sunroof rattle.....

Had same prob , went to Lowes bought about 6 7 ft of black 3/8s tubiing slipped in there between dash - window & my dashcover perfect !! Can see it a bit but not much & its does get worse n the cold . Will try for a pic tomorrow

I also have a dashmat and have the problem but it's intermittent. If I push the dashmat till it slides down behind the dash the noise goes away. However, it makes the dashmat "short" in front.

Perhaps a large piece of felt material placed under the dashmat (perhaps attached to the underside of the dashmat) at the window might work for those with dashmats.

Yes sir my cover does the same & actually the tubing holds cover down nice , also its just below the blacked out part of windshield . It pushes down there real easy , you have to get the 3/8s or else it just slips down . I kept mine cpl inchs long on each side so I can pull it out to clean cover .

I don't have a squeak or rattle. But are yalls windshields aftermarket? On the bottom in one of the corners it should say TOYOYA on it and if it doesn't it isn't the factory glass, and if it does it could be Toyota glass but not from the factory. If it is replaced, it could be installed wrong thus causing the sound.
