Whats up,

Its about time I start a build thread here. I had one going on the 120 thread on ih8mud but its mostly just GX guys over there. I felt out of place so i thought id better hop on over here.

Meet Reek, my 2004 v6.

Some of you Star Wars nerds might recognize the name. I have a thing with naming my rigs after Star Wars monsters. My old Cruiser was rightfully named Wampa for obvious reasons.

anyways, here is where Im at so far:

Suspension

- Bilstein 5100 shocks with 5th gen ORP springs.

Rack / Armor

- Custom platform roof rack.
- Custom hitch mounted swing out
- Custom Baja style bumper light bar

Wheels / Tires

- Stock Aluminum wheels plastidipped black
- 1.5" wheel spacers
- Toyo All terrains

Cargo

- Custom rear shelf system
- Cheap seat cover MOLE system

Other

- More little stuff that I will expound on later.

Here are my build plans :

I want to keep my rig pretty minimalistic. As far as suspension goes Ill probably upgrade the UPC arms, but thats about it. Im pretty happy with how it rides. I am looking at getting some bumpers.. more of a light weight hybrid style. I am trying to go for the retro style so I will probably end up doing some classic black 1st gen stripes over the fenders. I also want to run some 285/70/17 Nitto ridge grapplers with some retro style wheels of some sort. Obviously the plan will change as I go. I just want to keep it a modest DD so i can drive it for school and weekend trips without having to worry about it too much.

As I go I will make sure to document the little things as much as possible.
