Reinstalling OEM Rails - Question

I'm going to reinstall my OEM rails this weekend.
Do I need to use some kind of RV gasket goop around where they rails mount to the roof? There wasn't anything there when I removed it the first time.

The answer is no.

Seems like you went forward with it but I added a waterproof silicone around the bolt holes and on the bolts and rubber washers themselves.

The stock ones have a rubber gasket as part of the mount. All that comes stock is some locktite on the bolt threads

my bolts still had some silicon on them so they should seal in the threads pretty well. I'm not worried about it.
