Hey fellahs,

So, I have been gone for a while now. I lost the 4runner maybe a year ago, too some unfortunate events that were happening in my life. I looked back into my build thread and all the photos were gone so I wanted to post some more here in this new thread, ill keep updating it all the time with old photos so keep checking back. I wanted to create this thread so maybe my old 4runner can inspire other members, plus its just a bummer all my photos are gone in my old threads! ill also show you my new whip, or what I call the #momwagon

AND if there is a member on here with my old 4runner, message me please.

Here are a few more of my build. this is when i finished my rack a built and added some light force 170's and rotapax water jugs




This was building the rack and adding custom mounts for the shovel and axe.





Contra switched from OTRATTW, mounted in faceplate. and a lot of wiring...

I saw posts of your 4Runner popping around from dealer to dealer. You could try googling the vin if you have it.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what is the point of the aircraft looking cable from the rack to the front bumper?

Those are limb risers. The idea is the cable catches the low branches/brush that would scrape up the hood or whip into the windshield while on the trail. I think they look awesome, but I can imagine it becomes a PITA to open and close the hood for anything.

nailed it.:happy: It really was not to bad...I made it a quick disconnect, literally took 2 min to open the hood.

I always liked your rig. Its good to see it again! My truck even has some similarities to yours:

And I designed my limb risers to allow the hood to open with them in place.
