My 98 4runner doesn't have keyless entry, so I'm planning on installing one myself. I installed a keyless entry system made by Autopage on my Honda Del Sol a few years ago and it worked out great.
I really want to be able to open all 5 of my windows (and maybe the moon roof too) through the keyless entry remote. The control wires for front passenger-side, rear passenger-side, and rear driver-side windows are all available inside the cabin (because they can be controlled by switches on the driver's door). The control wires for the back window are also available inside the cabin. Does anyone know if the control wires for the driver's window are available inside the cabin? If not, I guess I have to run wires between the driver's door and the cabin to control that window through the keyless entry remote. Does anyone have any experience doing this with their 4runner?
