Remote Garage door opener

My 2003 4 Runner worked just fine for 10 years until my son set the third button for his garage at his house. Now my 2 won't work and I've tried EVERYTHING. Will it only work on one garage? Both houses have rolling codes.

He might have cleared all the codes. I know there's a way to do that on Homelink systems by holding down two buttons I believe.

yup that's what happened, just reprogram the other 2 buttons back to your opener and you should be good to go..:thumb:

did you erase all previous programs?

You need to replace the son that hosed it all up.

I went on the Homelink website and they offered some other suggestions, which I followed. Now the double garage door responds and the single does not. As the single garage door only goes to garbage cans, snow blowers, tricycles and assorted junk, I'm happy with the way things are working. And I think I'll keep the son, he's the one who gave me grandchildren! And yes, I did read the 'effin manual. :-}
