Remote opening and locking not working

Hi Everyone,

2015 Trail Edition here.

Remotes locking and unlocking stopped working as well as aftermarket remote start. I replaced all batteries in all key fobs, worked intermittently then stopped completely.

Did some research and everything pointing towards Door Control Receiver is bad. Apparently, it is located in the cargo area behind the plastic trim on the lefthand side. Its quite expensive, around US$500.

Did anyone experience anything similar and how did you resolve please?

would try ebay for the part, but might want to see if there is a loose connection to it first.

I think you are right, after I left the car parked for 2 days, the remote worked just fine. Now where do I start tearing the trim to find the loose connection?

start at the 2:10 mark, its been years since ive removed mine but it was pretty simple. I replaced all the speakers at one point
