Remote reservoir problems

Hey guys, I just installed a set of fox 2.5 remote res coilovers on my 2005 sr5 and I am having some trouble mounting my passenger side reservoir. I have brackets that came with the coilovers from ORW. The bracket ended up occupying the same space as the wiper fluid container so as of right now I have no wiper fluid. It works for now but I would like to get things set straight. How did yall go about mounting yours?

I think I am one of the only guys running the same CO's are you.

There are a couple of options...

1) Zip Ties (temporary, hopefullly....)

2) Weld On Resi Brackets. Kartek makes/sells some, I think they are around $7. This is what I currently have.

3) Modify your bracket. My friend Drew did this, here is a link to his post about it. Check out post #311 on this page...

Another thing to note is when you modify where you are mounting these you need to watch out for your sway bar, if the resi is too low your sway bar can come up and sheer the mounts off. Trust me on that one :ybrick:

Also, where are you located? What kind of wheeling do you do? I think I can count the guys with 4th gens with resis on one hand on this forum...

Great, thanks for the ideas, I just took a look at Kartek, I may go that way if i cant find some scrap tubing to fab up some mounts. Im in San Antonio and Ive spent most of my offroading time rock crawling but my jeep is for sale and now its time to see what my 4runner can do. Ive done some dirt roads and easy trails with it stock, not always terrible successfully. I will be living near Salt Lake for the summer so I plan on hitting up Moab and doing some desert running. - David
