Note for other 3rd gen guys the distance between the wheel wells is 39" and this platform is apparently 40" wide. I've got plans for mine that won't have it sitting between the wheel wells but I thought I'd throw the information out there.

You are correct sir, also at 6" above the floor it is right at 40" between the wheel wells.

Well dang I didn't even consider the width at the correct height. Kind of a bonehead move on my part, just ran out on my lunch break with a tape measure and measured the width. Still doesn't change my plans but I hope that it didn't mislead anybody else. :redbrick:

Very true. I'm planning on installing it on a platform so mine will definitely fit. Just wanted other 3rd gen guys to know it might be a squeeze like you mentioned.
