Removable doors

Topdown- look at a stereo shop or maybe a Honda dealer(ex's mini van had these). They make plastic plates with brass contacts that attach to the jamb and also to the door. Close door and contacts touch making the connection everything works. This way no wires running from vehicle into door.

Hmmm....good idea. I'll look into it.

If I remember right, the drivers side ( 1st gen SR5 ) has like 13 wires, and pass. side has 9. That's a lot of contacts, but it might work :)

yup! they use them for the sliding doors
