Remove 2021 TRD pro roof rack and replace with standard roof rack

Can someone kindly lead me towards some information in doing this? I find the TRD pro roof rack to be totally useless for my use case. I want to transport paddle boards and roof boxes etc. and I don’t see the need for this incredibly high rack. Thank you in advance

Check your local classifieds for roof rails people have removed for aftermarket racks.

Or post your PRO basket for a swap. Some people want the pro basket. Just remember, there's black and silver rails out there so be sure to specify if that's important to you.

They're pretty easy to swap out. Make sure all the gaskets are in good shape and use red lock-tite to prevent leakage.

It's easy to cause yourself a LOT of pain taking off the Pro rack if you aren't very careful.

There's a lot of good solutions in there for roof boxes, surfboards, etc. And the standard rack has it's own set of problems (the bars are so close to the roof the feet on roof boxes will contact the paint, etc.)
