Removing badges

I'm removing then painting the badges on my 4runner and I'm following this write-up, http://www.4runners.org/articles/blackpearl/.

I was wondering how you all removed the badge on the front of the grill? It doesn't seem like you can remove it how you removed the others.

the front grill is easiest. it has 3 prongs. two on top and one on bottom. just pop the hood and you'll be able to get to the prongs behind the grill.
